Nursery Is DONE

Well first off I want to update everyone on Miss Emily's ultrasound. We had to wait a week to get the results back from the perinatologist and they called Tuesday to let us know they cleared her scan and saw no signs of the fifths disease. That they wanted to do one more ultrasound when I am 32 weeks pregnant and that if she clears then that she is out of the woods. This has made me soooooo happy. She has really become active and has flipped head down over the past few days, making it hard for mommy to breathe.. But since I'm just getting into the third trimester I have a ways to go!

So Joe and I got to crackin on the nursery over the weekend and finally got it 99.9% DONE!.. It looks so good and it feels so good to walk past her door and look in and see all the PINK :).... I'm also proud of Joe for hand painting all the circles on the walls. Mommy made her curtains and hair bow holder and painted her shelves. So here are a few pictures of Miss Emily's room!

And this is Mommys first attempt at crochet.. Not the best job, but I am proud of myself!

Update On Miss Emily

So we had our big ultrasound test today on Miss Emily due to the positive blood work showing I had an active infection of the fifths disease the boys had. Good news is the preliminary report looks good and my OB said she personally didn't see any signs of the blood pooling or the anemia for Miss Emily. But that the test will be sent to the fetal doctors (perinatologist) and we hopefully will get the final report by Friday. She said they will probably order another ultrasound or two just to be safe and keep an eye on our girl!

And speaking of girl, the little heifer did not want to show us the "goods" yet again this visit. But the ultrasound lady said she saw a labia and no "dangly parts" and that she felt she was still indeed a GIRL..lol Miss Emily is measuring a healthy 2lbs 8oz and is measuring almost a week ahead, which is awesome. We could see her little chubby cheeks and those big ol feet! It's wild how much she has grown.

We also got registration forms for the boys to go to the siblings class up at the hospital. They get to tour the hospital and learn all about how their little sister will be taken care of in the hospital! Its getting so close and with the good news today on little Miss its becoming so real. Of course I want her to cook till shes full term, but I just can't wait to meet her and hold her. Well here are a couple pictures from today! ENJOY

Double Digits!

What a weekend! The weather has been beautiful this weekend, highs in the 60's and sunny. Joe and I got some much needed housework and car cleaning done, I must say the nesting much have hit him early. Speaking of hit I hit two good milestone this weekend as far as the pregnancy. First one being we are now in the double digit countdown. As of today we have 99 days until our expected due date. And speaking of due date I am now half way done with the 17 hydroxyprogesterone shots, so that means 10 down and 10 to go.

It's funny to think in 10 weeks I will get my last injection and after that little Miss Emily could come at anytime. We just pray the shots keep working and she doesn't come sooner. WOW time is flying by!
