Poor Nick

So little man is not feeling to good the past few days.. He woke up Sunday night with horrible tummy pains and throwing up, sorry I know to much information!!! Well after 3 hours at the doctor and 2 x-rays they said his tummy was inflamed and instead of the fluids pushing food and stuff through it was just "stunned" and collecting all the fluids. They also noted his spleen was enlarged.. His pediatrician is thinking its probably viral and just has us watching him.

Today he is feeling pretty good and actually kept some oatmeal down and is drinking awesome.. So everyone keep little man in your thoughts and here are some pictures of the many faces of Nick!!

The Past Couple Weeks

So I thought it was time for an update. The boys are LOVING school.. Nick can't understand why he can't go everyday like Justin.. They both really seem to love their teachers! Justins homework started this week, and I was surprised at the grading difference and homework amount from Kindergarten to 1st grade!

Fall ball practice has started. Joe was asked to be an assistant coach this year, so he is going to get his coaching certification tomorrow night. Also I volunteered to be team mom since we didn't have one, and that's been fun. I have gotten a chance to meet alot of cool people at the meetings. Justin was drafted by his coach from last season and is super excited! His team name is the Bats, yea I know I never heard of them either, but apparently its a minor league team out of Louisville, KY..

Joe and I are doing great, besides working all the time we seemed to have been really busy and on the go the past 2 weeks. I haven't been feeling to hot the past couple day, guess its probably a bug, but you never know ;).....

Well thats about it.. Here are a couple pictures of the boys in the sprinkler, gosh its been HOTT lately!!

Nicks First Day of Pre-School

So today was Nicks first day of Pre-School and he was soooo excited. He was such a big boy with his backpack and lunch box. He got to school and met his teacher Miss Andrea and kissed me goodbye and was like bye mom. I think it was harder for mommy today than it was for Nick. Its hard to believe he is old enough to even go to school. He is such a strong amazing little boy and Joe and I are so proud of him! Here are a couple pictures of his first day. The last one I took as I was leaving, can you tell he was going to miss me????
Walking into school!

Justins First Day of 1st Grade

So today was Justins first day of 1st grade. Its hard to believe he is already in 1st grade, but I guess I will say that every year. He was so nervous this morning and had a bad tummy ache and was whinny and upset. The moment we stepped in the doors of school he was FINE! He met his teacher Mrs Gerhardt, and saw that 3 of his friends from Kindergarten were in his class (Reice, Logan, and Hannah).. Here are some pictures of him ready to go this morning!

Update on us all!

First off I wanted to update everyone on Daddy. We had to end up taking him into the ER Saturday night with chest pains. They weren't confident enough that he wasn't having a heart attack that they decided to keep him overnight to run more test and to give him a stress test Sunday. Thankfully every test came back within normal limits and he was released. It was one of the scariest nights on my life and I thank god he is ok! He is to follow-up with his doctor and they are hoping it was just inflammation in between his heart and lungs. So everyone please keep him in your thoughts and prayers!

One the baby quest it turned out month three was a bust, but that's ok with us. We know that July just wasn't our month and that maybe August will be. That would give us a beautiful May baby, so fingers crossed!

The boys are doing great. Justin had fall ball skill evals today, gosh it was so HOTT! He can't wait for fall ball to start. The boys went to Pappy and Grandma Marys house this weekend and we got to give them a surprise room makeover while they were gone. They had saw a sports room in a magazine and said they wanted their room like it. SO this is what they got (not bad for a 6 hour renovation)!
